Day 1 – Travel along the California coast from Santa Monica to oceanfront hotel on Channel Island.
Day 2 – Santa Barbara city tour. Then on to Solvang, a quaint Danish community with shops and restaurants. Last, San Simeon optional tour of Hearst Castle at additional cost.
Day 3 – Drive through Carmel to Monterey and stop at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, tour at an additional cost, or just browse the shops. Scenic drive past Pebble Beach then to the hotel for two nights in Vallejo with breakfast included.
Day 4 – Four hour city tour then Fisherman’s Wharf to do as you wish. Ride the trolley, see the Golden Gate Bridge, the Presidio Area, Knob Hill, Alcatraz or take a Harbor Cruise.
Day 5 – Short drive by tour of the State Capital of Sacramento, then on to River walk. Overnight in Bakersfield.
Day 6 – Leisure day coming home.
