San Antonio River Walk Thanksgiving

 

Day 1:  Fly into San Antonio, Texa and transportation to take you to the hotel will meet you at baggage.  You will go directly to your downttown hotel where you will receive a great discount book for several local attractions within walking distance of your hotel.  This evening enjoy a 40 minute narrated cruise that tours the main 2 1/2 miles of the River Walk on the river badge.

HOTEL: NEAR TTHE RIVERWALK AND DOWNTOWN - BREAKFAST EACH MORNING.

Day 2:  Happy Thanksgiving:  Breakfast at the hotel this morning and then enjoy the day on your own.  Amid the lush green foliage that lines the banks of the peaceful jade-green San Antonio River, cobblestone walkways lead you to river level resaurants and shops.  The VIA San Antonio Streetcars take you nearly anywhere in the downtown area.  Some of the many attractions in the area include:  The Alamo, Buckhorn Saloon & Museum, Imaz Theatre at Rivercenter, La Villita Historic District, and the Market Square, Spanish Mercado.  We will have our Thanksgiving Dinner this evening as a group — Included.

Day 3:  Breakfast at the hotel this morning and then you will again have a free day to enjoy the River Walk area on your own.  This evening you will attend the Holiday River Parade and Lighting Ceremony.  At this annual spectacle there ia an illuminated parade of boats on the river, and the River Walk Christmas Lights are turned on.  A Beautiful sight.

Day 4:  After breaakfast have a relaxing morning and then this afternoon we will be taken back to the Airport for your flight home.
