Day 1: Leave the Valley early and travel towards Flagstaff and onto the Lake Powell area. We will spend the night at the Lake area, time permitting we will visit the Glen Canyon Dam.
Day 2: We will leave early and Arrive at Bryce Canyon pinnacles. The “Park of the Pink Cliffs” is a series of horseshoe shaped natural amphitheaters of pink and white sandstone and limestone. It is about 1,000 feet deep, 3 miles long and 2 miles wide and is located on the edge of Pausaugunt Plateau. The park covers about 36,000 acres and was established as a national park in 1938. This afternoon we will take a drive through Zion National Park. Zion Canyon is a vertical walled chasm about 1½ miles deep and 15 miles long. You will see Watchman (6,555 ft), West Temple (7,795 ft), and pass through Zion Tunnel which is about 5,607 feet long. Overnight in Hurricane, Utah.
Day 3 : Today we will travel through Colorado city, Jacob Lake, Vermillion Cliffs, Wu-pati Nat. Mont., Sunset Crater through flagstaff and home - arriving around 10:00 p.m.
