Indians, Cowboys, History, Unbelievable Sights and Sounds of the Old West.
Day One: Travel to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport in Arizona.
Day Two: Arrive in Phoenix and be met by an American/Chinese guide. Take a transfer to the Radisson Hotel on an Indian Reservation where there is a casino and beautiful mountain views. After dinner Native Americans will dance and tell stories about our native history.
Day Three: City tour of Phoenix includes; the Capitol Building, the Financial Area and Sports Complexes. Then, Canyon Lake, a small lake made from many dams. Take a 2 hour narrated tour in a small riverboat while having lunch. On your own for the evening.
Day Four: Travel to Sedona, known for its beautiful red rocks. Take a 2 hour guided Pink Jeep Tour up into the mountain area. Dinner and then an IMAX show in Sedona.
Day Five: See the newest attraction in Arizona – The Grand Canyon Skywalk. Walk out onto the glass bottom bridge 4,000 feet above the Colorado River. Have lunch at the Ranch House, then travel to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Day Six: Spend the day at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Take a tour and enjoy the sights from many different vistas. Overnight at the Canyon.
Day Seven: After breakfast travel to Navajo Indian land. Take a jeep tour into Monument Valley and see towering buttes, jagged pinnacles and rippled sand dunes. Overnight in Kayante.
Day Eight: Tour Canyon DeChelley. Have lunch at one of the native restaurants on the reservation. Take a guided jeep tour down into the canyon. Overnight in this area.
Day Nine: Tour of one of the oldest Trading Posts in Arizona and see how Indian rugs are woven. Next, arrive at the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest area. After lunch at the visitor center go to the Petrified Forest Museum and learn about petrified wood. Overnight high in the Arizona Mountains in the Alpine area.
Day Ten: Cross through the Coronado Trail which is 6,864 feet high at its peak and see the Arizona and Mexican mountains. This is known as the “Blue Mountain” area because the mountains turn blue while travelling through them. Overnight in Tombstone.
Day Eleven: Visit Tombstone, “The Town Too Tough to Die.” An old west town with graveyards, saloons, hanging post and a gunfight in the street! After lunch, travel to Bisbee, a unique old mining town. Put on rain slickers, board mining cars and tour the inside of an old mine. Overnight in Bisbee.
Day Twelve: City tour of Tucson includes a visit to one of the oldest missions in the state and a tram ride into a beautiful canyon. Visit Kitt Peak Observatory, designed by astronomers.
Days Thirteen and Fourteen: Spend two days in Scottsdale in the Valley of the Sun. Enjoy great shopping, night life, River walk, art galleries, western clothes, jewelry, and much, much more.
Day Fifteen: Travel home.
