Day 1: Leave the valley and travel toward California onto the Hemit area for the night.
Day 2: This is your day to relax and enjoy all of the event around the Pageant—You will attend the 4:00 p.m. production of the “Ramona Pageant” which portrays the plight of Southern California Indian people, told through the love story of Ramona and Alessandro, and featuring traditional Indian and Mexican music and dance. Since 1923, this Helen Hunt Jackson adaptation has been presented with over 400 actors, singers, dancers and horsemen in a unique hillside amphitheater. There is plenty of other things to do before the pageant—so enjoy! THIS IS THE 91st YEAR FOR THE PAGAENT.
After the pageant, we will head for home, making several breaks and arriving back in the Valley around Midnight.
Day 3: Lake Arrowhead—You will enjoy this lovely little town tucked away in the pines. Time to shop—take cruise lake cruise and just enjoy this lovely area before we start for home around 3:00 p.m. We will also visit the Olympic Skating Rink—where our skaters train for the Olympics.
You will have a dinner stop (on your own) along the way and should arrive back in the Valley of the Sun around 11:00 p.m.
